1 min read

The General Body Meeting (GBM) is a forum where OGSSI members come together to discuss and shape the Society's functioning. It gives members a direct voice in the Society's decision-making process.

Schedule

  • Held twice during each committee's tenure — during the Midyear Conference and the Annual Conference

  • Additional meetings may be called as and when needed

Purpose & Significance

Many major decisions regarding OGSSI's functioning have been shaped in the past through valuable suggestions offered by experienced and senior OGSSI members during these meetings. Members are encouraged to participate actively and contribute constructive ideas to help take OGSSI forward.

Notice Period

Notice for a General Body Meeting is given at least three weeks in advance, communicated to members through WhatsApp messages and email.

How to Participate

As a responsible OGSSI member, you are encouraged to attend General Body Meetings and share your suggestions — all inputs are welcome to make OGSSI's activities more meaningful and productive.
