The Dr Premalatha Ramachandran Medal is awarded for the Best Case Presentation delivered during OGSSI's Monthly Clinical Meetings, recognizing consistent excellence in clinical case discussion throughout the year.

About the Award

Awarded for the best case presentation made during OGSSI's Monthly Clinical Meetings (held on the last Tuesday of every month)
Presentations are judged by a panel of experts at the time of presentation
Two medals are awarded each year:
- One medal in the Consultant Category
- One medal in the Postgraduate Category

Eligibility

Cases presented during the Monthly Clinical Meetings by Consultants or Postgraduates are eligible to be considered for this award
To be eligible for consideration, members must first have their case abstract accepted for presentation at a Monthly Clinical Meeting (see the Monthly Clinical Meeting page for the submission process and rules)

Presentation & Award

Both medals are presented during the OGSSICON Annual Conference, held in March.
